- This is a sources sought announcement only This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), Hub Zone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 621498, size standard $9M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHCS), 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide the establishment of a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Dothan, AL. The contractor is to provide the continuous delivery and management of primary care for all assigned VA patients at their establishment. The contractor will provide health care providers, medical facilities, medical equipment and supplies, and all administrative functions to fulfill the care and range of services as required by the VA and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), or other regulatory agencies. (NOTE: Contractor's facility must be physically located within Dothan, Alabama. Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all persons, whether they be employees, agents, sub-contractor's, providers or anyone acting for or on behalf of the contractor, are properly licensed at all times under Alabama state law and/or regulations and shall be subject to credential and privilege approvals by the VA.
