Description: The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement to procure spare parts/components, training, repair services, robotic systems, and replacement robotic systems for all variations of Foster-Miller robotic systems currently being used in contingency operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is to announce PEO STRIs intent to award a non-competitive sole source FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a set ceiling of $400 mil with Foster Miller Inc., for fulfillment of this requirement. This award will be for a two year base period and three one year options. Foster-Miller robotic systems are currently being utilized in direct support of contingency operations OCONUS and wil l not be competed due to the proprietary nature of these systems. Foster Miller Inc., is the only known company capable of providing the required support and sustainment capability for these fielded robotic systems. A response to this synopsis is not req uired.
