Description: The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement to procure spare parts/components, training, repair services, robotic systems, and replacement robotic systems for all variations of iRobot robotic systems currently being used in contingency operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is to announce PEO STRIs intent to award a non-competitive sole source FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a set ceiling of $200 mil with i Robot Corp., for fulfillment of this requirement. This award will be for a two year base period and three one year options. iRobot robotic systems are currently being utilized in direct support of contingency operations OCONUS and will not be competed du e to the proprietary nature of these systems. iRobot Corp., is the only known company capable of providing the required support and sustainment capability for these fielded robotic systems. A response to this synopsis is not required. None of the number ed notes are applicable to this acquisition.
