- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential reentry center (RRC) services for male and female Federal offenders held under the authority of United States Statutes located within Hidalgo County, Texas. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Residential Reentry Center (RRC), August 2000, As Revised by CCB: inclusive of Revision 10 -- July 2006; Locally Modified by the Houston CCM Office in July, 2007, for the Hidalgo County, Texas, Replacement RFP." This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 90% male and 10% female for the two-year base period; and 90% male and 10% female for option years one, two, and three. The estimated number of inmate days is 59,860 for the two-year base period; 29,930 for option year one; 30,012 for option year two; and 29,930 for option year three. The solicitation will be available on or about November 29, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov . Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP-200-1001-SC will be on or about January 28, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
