- Description
- This procurement is for a Battery, Storage, Lead Acid, Charged, Starved, Maintenance Free, NSN 6140-01-474-6576 which is identified by Spec NR MIL-PRF-8565. QPL 8565-28 applies. A shelf life of 18 months applies. RFP will cover requirements for a firm-fixed price contract for a quantity of 309 ea, with a 100% option for increased quantity. Requirement will be solicited FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination, and a required delivery of 125 days ARO. DLA Direct requirement. This is unrestricted under the negotiated method of procurement. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. No Internet quotes will be accepted for this solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
