Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF INTENT TO COMPETE AN EXPIRING LEASE OF OFFICE SPACE IN EL MONTE, CALIFORNIA REQUIREMENT: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) currently occupies office space under a soon to expire lease. The IRS is conducting a competition for a replacement lease for this requirement. The space should yield approximately 56,350 BOMA USF of office space. Consideration for relocating this requirement will be taken upon analysis of the economics involved, including the cost of moving, tenant improvements, and impact on agency mission, among other items. LOCATION: The geographical area of consideration for this requirement is as follows: Starting at the intersection of I-10 and Rosemeade; S on Rosemeade to RT 60 (Pomona Freeway); SE on RT 60 to Turnbull Canyon Road; NE on Turnbull Canyon Road to Valley Blvd; NW on Valley Blvd to N. Orange; NE on N. Orange to W. Francisquito; NW on W. Francisquito to I-10; W on I-10 to Rosemeade. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than April 1, 2008. LEASE TERM: The lease term will be for up to 10 years.
