Description

ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort McCoy, WI intends to issue negotiate a sole source contract with Signal Communications Corporation, 4 Wheeling Ave, Woburn, MA 01801-2009 for 51 each upgrade kits to convert existing Signal Communications fire a larm radio transmitters to low band frequencies, and purchase 30 each DTX-H1R1-N104 Radio Master Boxes 4-Zone w/battery manufactured by Signal Communications . The equipment must function with the existing Signal Communications radio transmitter panels t hat are located at separate locations. This equipment transmits alarm signals that are received on master console panels also manufactured by Signal Communtions. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed purchase order using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acq uisitions, subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will co nsider all quotes received within four (4) business days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Gove rnment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort McCoy intends to award a sole source contract five (5) business days afte r publication of this notice.
