Description
This announcement replaces the original posting dated 17 October 2007 which is deleted in its entirety. The United States Army Contracting Command Europe Wiesbaden (USACCE-W) is conducting a market survey for the purpose of identifying sources interested in and capable of providing armed guard services throughout Germany. Anticipated award is an indefinite delivery/requirements-type non-personal services contract for the provision and supervision of uniformed armed security guards and explosive detection dog (EDD) guard teams. The anticipated contract term is a base year and two one-year option periods. Pe rsonnel proposed to work under the contract must be native-born citizens of NATO member nations. Please provide information regarding your capability/experience in performing armed guard services in military installations, public facilities such as airports, railroads or sensitive security locations such as banks. Relevant experience by a single firm would include: 1. One contract within the past 3 years for services in Europe that was one year or more in duration, requiring the equivalent of 100 armed guard positions for 24/7 guard posts that require approximately 500 personnel and 5 EDD guard teams. 2. Concurrent performance within the past 3 years of 2 up to 4 (maximum) contracts, each of which was one year or more in duration, requiring at least 100 armed guard positions (cumulative total for of all contracts) for 24/7 guard posts that require appr oximately 500 personnel and 5 EDD guard teams. 3. One contract or concurrent performance within the past 3 years of 2 up to 4 (maximum) contracts for services in Europe, one year or more in duration, utilizing the equivalent of 600 armed guard positions for 24/7 guard posts that require approximately 3,000 personnel and 20 EDD guard teams.
