- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWCPC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Innovative Professional Solutions (IPS), 8317 Front Beach Rd Suite 17D2, Panama City Beach, FL. 32407, for the procurement of technical support of specific Mine Warfare Combat Systems. This effort is a direct follow-on to support acquired under N61331-07-P-0519. This is a follow-on contract for the acquisition of engineering services for continued development of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, within the exact meaning of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Use of any other vendor would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-08-T-3502. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 541330 with size standard of $4,500,000. The order shall be firm fixed priced with a period of performance from the issuance of award through 31 December 2007. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://nswcpc.navsea.nay.mil/contracts/ztable/open_actions.html. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCPC web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
