- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, Oregon, has a requirement to supply various types of fish food to National Fish Hatcheries in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and Nevada. Multiple Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contracts for a base and four option years will be awarded to supply fish food types as specified in the statement of work, which include Pacific Salmon Semi-Moist (estimated annual usage of 178,692 pounds), Abernathy Dry Diet (estimated annual usage of 137,450 pounds), Steelhead Floating/Hagerman Fish Food (estimated annual usage of 1,337,100 pounds), Dry, Extruded Fish Food (estimated annual usage of 2,201,388 pounds), and Dry Steam Pelleted Fish Food (estimated annual usage of 108,551. Prices quoted will be FOB destination to the various states. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on past performance/experience with similar requirements and price. Past performance/experience with similar requirements is significantly more important than price. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish a quality assurance/quality control plan within 15 days of award.
