- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide a complete rebuild on one (1) Farmont (Portec) TKO Railroad Tie Remover/Inserter, Mfg. Part #610000, Mfg. ser # ME0718 for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.. McAlester, OK. ASC intends to issue an Invitation for Bids W52P1J-08-B-3000 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition.army.mil on or about 08 Nov 2007 with opening 30 days from issuance. This contract will be covered under NAICS 336510. Small Business for this NAICS is 1000 employees or less. This will be issued as a complete Small Business Set A Side. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who pr ovide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All of ferors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after t his solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
