- The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, hereby awards two contracts from SIR DTFAAC-07-R-00020 for the Development and Revision of Airman Training Handbooks. The awardees are: DTFAAC-08-D-00004 to the Wicks Group, 1215 17th Street, NW, 4th Floor, Sumner Annex, Washington, DC 20036 with an estimated total amount including all options of $4,957,740 and DTFAAC-08-D-00005 Safety Research Corporation of America, 807 Donnell Boulevard, Suite Q, Daleville, Alabama with an estimated total amount including all options of $2,190,645. The period of performance is as follows: Base period Oct 22, 2007 - Sept. 30, 2008, Option I Oct 1, 2008 - Sept. 30, 2009, Option II Oct. 1, 2009 - Sept. 30, 2010, Option III Oct. 1, 2010 - Sept. 30, 2011, Option IV Oct. 1, 2011 - Sept. 30, 2012.
