Description
AMENDMENT 3 - THE PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT 3 IS TO CHANGE THE DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS FROM 10/22/07, 4:00 PM TO 10/30/07, 4:00 PM EDT. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) , Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Transportation and Air Quality, in Ann Arbor, Michigan has a requirement for Garment Services. The object of this requirement is for a contractor to provide a variety of Shop Coats, Lapel Coats, Laboratory coats, Aprons and Coveralls, 100% cotton, no metal fasteners, to include laundering, maintenance, pick-up and delivery of same. The contract is anticipated to consist of one (1) base year, with 4 one (1) year option periods. The contractor shall be responsible for providing sufficient items to allow for any one type of garment to be utilized, one in reserve and one being laundered at any given time. Laundering is to occur on a weekly basis, to include pickup and delivery, and to perform any maintenance required to keep the garment in good condition. The contractor shall be required to provide name tags on all garments, the U.S. EPA will provide EPA emblems to be attached by the contractor to each garment. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and 13 and other FAR parts as applicable. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 812332, size standard of $13 Million. The requirement is a 100% set-a-side for small business concerns. Award will be made on a Best Value basis. Potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, http://www.ccr.gov/ to be eligible for award. The solicitation, PR-CI-07-11364, will be available on or about October 2, 2007, on FedBizOpps under U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract.
