- Description
- Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service has a requirement for Facilities Management Services, for its headquarters facilities located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Approximately 2500 personnel are supported. Required services include (but are not restricted to) labor, courier, warehouse support, and transportation services. Place(s) of performance are the FMS Headquarters building in Washington, DC, along with locations in Hyattsville, MD, and warehouse facility in Landover, MD. The requirement is 100% set aside for small, disadvantaged businesses, and is being conducted in accordance with the 8(a) program. Only 8(a) companies, certified as such by the Small Business Administration (SBA) will be allowed to participate. A one year base period with four option years, for a total contract performance period of five years will be used. Applicable NAICS code: 56121. A performance-based contract, using commercial contracting procedures, is envisioned. Anticipated award date will be prior to 12/31/2007. Solicitation # FMS-HQ-08-R-0001 will be released to those who to this notice, and a written proposal will be requested. FMS is only seeking qualified, interested parties at this time, and proposals are not yet being sought.
