- This pre-solicitation notice is for HAZMAT training and Defense Driving Courses given for the DOD Police at Fort Dix, NJ. The award will be an Firm-fixed price type contract with a base period and 2 - 12 month option periods. The contractor shall f urnish all plant, labor, transportation, materials, equipment, supervision, and appliances, complete; and perform all operations for the inspection, maintenance, service, adjustment, and repair. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611699. The small business size standard for NAICS 611699 is $6.5 million. Wages applicable to this operation are covered under Department of Labor Wage Determination WD 05-2449 07/27/2007 . The government will evaluate all proposals on a price and relevant past performance that represents the best overall value to the Government. The solicitation will be posted on or about 1 November 2007 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquistio n to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The solicitation will include Federal Acquisition Regulation contract provisions and clauses, a proposal sheet, and performance work statement. The performance work statement will include details of required work elements. It is the responsibility of offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registe red in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Anticipated award date is on or around 15 November 20 07.
