The Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request for Offer (RFO) for Grounds Maintenance and Vegetation Control at the ZLA ARTCC in Palmdale, CA. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor and materials necessary to provide these services at the ZLA facility. This requirement is totally Set-Aside for 8(a) Firms. Contractors must be certified as an 8(a) Firm and provide certification from the Small Business Administration (SBA) with the written request for solicitation package. In addition, Contractors must have active registration with the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) website at: http://www.ccr.gov, before the contract award can be made. The Solicitation will request pricing for the Base-Year with Four (4) Option Years. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 541320. A request for solicitation package must identify the SOLICITATION NUMBER (DTFAWP-08-R-00092) and must be received no later then WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2007 at 10:00 am, Pacific Time. Any request for a solicitation after this date, regardless of how transmitted, WILL NOT BE HONORED. The solicitation for this project will be issued on or about, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2007. Awards resulting from the RFO will be based on Best Value to the FAA, giving consideration to past performance and experience with the same or similar work and cost. The FAA may make an award without communications and/or negotiations; however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted to determine the Best Value to the FAA.
