- Description
- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only, to identify firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required for the Coast Guards Remote Radio Activated Sound Signal (RRASS) as described: The US Coast Guard has identified a need for a contractor to primarily provide the Labor to assemble the components to assemble to make up 55 units each, 1SG38-RRASS-REMOTE RADIO ACTIVATED SOUND SIGNAL UNIT. The contractor will be required to assemble 2 units completely and transport those 2 units to the USCG C2CEN Facility in Portsmouth, VA for First Article Approval-Government Testing (IAW FAR 52.209-4), once approval given; the contractor will be notified that he can proceed with the remaining units. All transportation in reference to the awarded contract, including the First Article Units will be FOB Destination.
