Description
SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE; NAICS CODE 423120 (100 employees) The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a Contractor to perform a detailed inspection on motor/generator set control panels and motor starters, inspect and test 1 8 switchboard circuit breakers, two rectifier cabinets, two 2400 volt transformers, two starters for the Overside Dredge Motors and Dredge Generators and Inboard Motor Exiter panels for the Dredge Wheeler. A GE trained service engineer for technical guida nce of this work as well as electricians, machinists, and laborers are required to perform the work listed. The Dredge Wheeler is located at 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Solicitation W912P8-08-T-0005 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be available on or about October 19, 2007. This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 5063; the NAICS code is 423120. This solicitation is being set as ide for small businesses. Quotes are due on November 2, 2007 at 2:00 PM CST.
