- Description
- This a Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) that Maxwell AFB Contracting intends to award a sole source purchase order to The Civil Air Patrol, Maxwell AFB AL to provide a method of payment for the purchase of Aviation Gas (AVGAS) from facilities throughout the nation. This sole source requirement is pursuant to the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as set forth in FAR Part 6.302-1. This will be a fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment. Any firm that believes it is capable of satisfying Maxwell AFB?s requirement may submit a written capabilities statement by October 23, 2007 4:00pm (CST). If no responses are received a sole source award will be made to The Civil Air Patrol. A determination not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
