- Description
- The Department of Labor (DOL) and the Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) entered into a Water Service Agreement dated 8/19/04 for the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. The Agreement provides for TMWA to supply water service to the Center and to maintain such system in exchange for DOL constructing essential safety devices in the overall campus water system. The scope of work required of DOL is contained in a set of drawings issued by TMWA dated 2/19/04 and involved upgrades to both the domestic water supply serving individual buildings as well as the water lines for irrigation and fire protection;. This will ensure the system has backflow prevention at all potential points of contamination. Those drawings are issued with this bid document and are considered to be a part of this bid document.
