- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all management, supervision, labor, subcontracting, services of manufacturers representatives and all facilities, utilities, equipment, tools, lubricants, fu els materials and articles to repair the Towboat Kent. (The Kent is a welded steel towboat 85 long, 32 wide and 10-6 deep). Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the Kent before preparing and submitting a proposal. The Contractors facility shall be located within 100 mile radius of the U. S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans. Solicitation W912P8-08-R-0003 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3731; the NAICS code is 336611. This soli citation is issued as unrestricted. Quotes are due on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 10:00 A.M.
