- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide 192,000 ea parachue pads per drwg 9214154D dtd 19 Aug 91, 9600 ea canister rings per drwg 9213761C dtd 23 Jan 70, and 48,000 canister padsper drwg 9213763D for the 155 MM M485. Material to be felt, sheet, wool, type 1, classification 16R3 (12R3) per Spec C-F-206. FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. ASC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-08-R-3003 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about 19 Nov 2007 with opening 30 days from issuance. This contract will be restricted under NAICS 322214 as a small business set-aside classification. Small Business is 500 employees or less. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. There will be a 100% option quantity available on the b ase contract. There will be the possibility of four option years, each with a 100% option quantity on this contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR ). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offer ors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It wil l be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
