Description
The US Army Contracting Agency, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command (FMWRC), Family Programs Directorate, intends to procure Facilitator/Trainer services for the HQDA, Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) Conference for support during the period 30 November 2007 through 7 December 2007 in the National Capital Region. The conference occurs annually in the November/December timeframe. Utilizing the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subp art 12.6 procedures and FAR 15.101-2, a Firm Fixed Price single award contract will be made to the lowest price-technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible offeror and shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified under the NAICS code 541618 are encouraged to submit their quotes. The Period of Performance is for a base year of 12 months with 2 Options Year periods, each for 12 months. A written request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted o n 19 October 2007. The question and answer session will close on 22 October 2007 at 03:00 pm., Eastern Standard Time. Answers will be posted to the CCE Homepage. The RFQ closing date is 29 October 2007 at 10:00 am. For purposes of timely submission, the late quote provision in FAR 52.212-1 (f) shall apply. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendm ents to the solicitation will likewise be posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be complied. Your quotes shall be valid for 60 days from date of submittal. The Government reserves the right to evaluate quotes and award the contract on initial quotes without conducting discussions, but reserves the right to conduct discussions with Offeror(s) and to request revised quotes.
