- This synopsis is notification of the Fort Sill Contracting Office's intent to extend contract DABT39-01-D-0003 for a base period of starting 1 DEC 07 through 30 SEP 08, with two, one-month options to the incumbent contractor, Oklahoma Department of R ehabilitation Services (ODRS), 3535 NW 58th St., Suite 500, Oklahoma City, OK, 73112-4815. The interim extension will be executed with a State Licensing Agency (SLA) under the Randolph Sheppard Act (RSA) giving preference to blind vendors. A competitiv e contract started 1 October 01 for installation food support services at Fort Sill, OK. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a firm fixed price requirements contract. The extension will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Sill installation pending award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Re sponsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for 15 days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence tha t competition of this extension period would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract ext e nsion period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
