- Directorate of Contracting at Ft Sam Houston, Texas currently has a requirement at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California for desert tortoises monitoring and translocation for an anticipated contract period of 1 Oct 2008 through 31 D ec 2008. The service providers will locate, attach radio transmitter, coordinate with Government officials for blood test, conduct health screen for diseases, translocate desert tortoise within the new designated area (by September 30, 2008)and provide mo nthly monitoring services. Applicable NAICS Code is 813312 with a size standard of $6.5 Million.
