- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for a generator, Genset-Diesel, 60Hz, 175kW, mobile trailer mounted with a twelve (12) hour fuel tank, Mfg. Onan item #: 175DSHAB, quantity: one (1) each. The requested delivery to Patrick AFB, Florida will be approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an award. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The non-manufacturer rule is applicable as outlined in 13 CFR 121.406 and FAR 19.502-2, therefore this requirement is unrestricted. Solicitation No. FA2521-08-T-0006 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3621, business size of 1,000 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335312. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 23 October 2007 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
