- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement to provide access and use of the on-line access to the research library package, one (1) year subscription, with multiple simultaneous users. This service will be conducted at Patrick Air Force base, Florida. The period of performance will be 01 December 2007 to 30 November 2008. Four one-year options may be awarded. This is a Sole Source with Proquest Information and Learning IAW FAR 6.302-1. Proquest Information and Learning is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement since they are the only company that produces and distributes two (2) web-based products that DEOMI has subscribed to for over ten (10) years. The in-depth information provided by these products support the specific research needs of both staff members and military students attending classes at DEOMI. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 2741 with a business size of 500 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511120. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Proquest Information and Learning is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
