- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office and the U. S. Embassy, Quito, are seeking qualified offerors for construction and remodeling of the SIPA Unit of the National Police of Ecuador, located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The project consists of the construction of 515 square meters of barracks and the remodeling of 400 square meters of offices. The project also includes construction of the sewage and a storm drainage system, the potable water system, and the electrical system. The solicitation is planned for release to qualified offerors on or about November 2, 2007, with contract award before the end of 2007. It is anticipated that construction will begin as soon as possible after contract award, with a performance period of approximately eight months from contract execution to substantial completion. The resulting contract type will be firm-fixed price, and the estimated value of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000 U.S. In order to obtain the solicitation package (including drawings and specifications) offerors must forward their written requests IN ENGLISH by fax to Mr. Robert A. Proposals will be accepted from both U.S. and non-U.S. firms.
