- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of on-site Dialysis and Nephrology Services for the Federal Medical Center located in Devens, Massachusetts. It is the intent of the Government to make a single award to an offeror who can provide all services and equipment as specified in the solicitation. FMC Devens currently houses approximately 120 inmates with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). The estimated quantities are anticipated to remain stable from the base year through all option periods. Estimated quantities for each contract year are as follows: Hemodialysis - estimated 17,160 treatments per year; Peritoneal Dialysis - estimated 3,650 treatment days per year. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements with firm fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 26, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about December 14, 2007. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered
