- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution/Federal Prison Camp located in Seagoville, Texas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 210 days - Estimated Maximum 420 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 260 visits - Estimated Maximum 520 visits; Outpatient Institution Services / General Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 3 Visits - Estimated Maximum 6 Visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Orthopedic Surgeon - Guaranteed Minimum 4 Visits - Estimated Maximum 8 Visits; Outpatient Institution Services / Optometrist - Guaranteed Minimum 25 Sessions - Estimated Maximum 50 Sessions. The solicitation will be made available on/or about June 1, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about July 21, 2006. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
