- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Ammunition intends to issue a solicitation for a five (5) year IDIQ contract for the purpose of procuring non-developmental Signaling Colored Smoke Grenades. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332993, Ammunition (Except Small Arms) Manufacturing. The five (5) required colors are: Green, Yellow, Red, Violet, and White. A single contract for the entire requirement will be awarded. The grenades will be used for ground-to-air or ground-to-ground Signaling/Screening. The actual total production quantities are currently under discussion. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, base and four (4) option ordering periods, with anticipation for production orders being placed in FY2009. It is anticipated that solicitation M67854-07-R-1007 will be available in late August 2007 via the internet at http://www.FedBizOps.Gov . ! All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). The solicitation will require online certifications and representations (ORCA), http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may make the offeror ineligible for award. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate by full and open competition under authority of FAR Part 15. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Written questions will be taken once the solicitation is issued. No questions will be accepted before that time or in response to this notice.
