Battery Cell Test System - FSG 66 NAICS ? 334515 Issue Date 10 OCT 2007 - Closing Date 30 OCT 2007 Time 2:00 PM CDT This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located http://www.fedbizopps.gov/and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 12 and FAR 13. Solicitation Number N00164-07-R-6970 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. The Government has a requirement for a Battery Cell Test System. The unit is used to condition and match cells used to repair backup UPS batteries for DDG51 class ships and various other fleet assets. The system includes up to 192 channels and a PC that contains the test software and is used for test control, data acquisition and data analysis of the recorded test data. There will also be 2 options on this procurement. Option 1 is for calibration equipment, and Option 2 is for an 8-channel bank. This procurement will be negotiated on a competitive, commercial basis in accordance with FAR 6.1, ?Full and Open Competition.? All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Cran e web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.Offers may be faxed to Lorna Tribby, FAX 812-854-3465 or e-mailed to lorna.tribby@navy.mil .
