- THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to award a Board Agency Announcement (BAA) resulting in award of Firm Fixed Price contracts in support of the EPX program. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to announce the details of an upcoming Classified Industry Day. The goals of the BAA will be to have analysis, risk assessments and recommendations provided on key Milestone A documents and planning, define a proposed design concept package consisting of an integrated, full-up weapons system concept, and identify key areas/subsystems/technologies for prototyping. DETAILS ON CLASSIFIED INDUSTRY DAY: The EPX classified briefing will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 26 October 2007 at the Eagles Nest conference room, Bldg. 2109, Patuxent River Naval Air Station. All interested parties shall provide the following information to Christopher Rawlings via e-mail at Christopher.rawlings@navy.mil no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 22 Oct 2007; company name, names of attendees, job title for each attendee, phone number, and attendee e-mail addresses. Each company is limited to four attendees due to space. For base access, log on to www.nas.nawcad.navy.mil, complete one Contractor Base Access Request Form for each attendee, and e-mail the form to Mr. Christopher Rawlings at the above e-mail address no later than 22 October 2007. This briefing will be classified secret, and all attendees must have the appropriate clearance level or they will not be able to participate. To ensure appropriate clearances, each attendee must e-mail a classified visit request to Mr. Christopher Rawlings at the above e-mail address no later than 22 October 2007, with the following information; attendee full name, Social Security Number, date and place of birth, citizenship, date of visit, level of clearance, and Company/Organization name. THIS RFI IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT, NOR WILL THE GOVERNMENT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SOLICITED.
