- INDUSTRY DAY The Tulsa District Corps of Engineers in conjunction with the Department of Energy, Pantex Plant will host an Industry Day for any interested contractors concerning the construction of a $40 $60M High Explosive Pressing Facility on th e Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX. The estimated construction period is summer of 2008 until late 2011. This presentation will give a broad overview of the project, present the acquisition strategy being utilized to award this contract and the proposed sche dule. This industry day is not a presolicitation conference and will not directly address any specific ongoing solicitations. Interested companies can attend the industry day on October 26th, 2007 at the Magnolia Hotel, 1401 Commerce Street Dallas, TX 75 201 from 1330-1530.
