- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command Kuwait, has a requirement for logistics support services to provide logistics analysis of Class I, II, III, IV, and VII assets utilizing all levels of Standard Army Retail systems (SARSS) and Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS). The sole source effort is to provide continuity of service for 6 months with The Logistics Company. The sole source will allow ample time for the U.S. Army to develop a new solicitation to merge multiple requirements into o ne solicitation to be offered on a full and open competitive basis at a later date. The USACC SWA-Kuwait office intent is to make the sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can deliver these services to start on 1 November 2007 is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer by way of the Contract Specialist within 2 calendar days from the date of publication of this not ice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to furnish the logistics support services as requested. Information can be sent to Contract Specialist, taft.n.bradley@kuwait.swa.army.mil. Responses receive d will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USACC SWA-Kuwait will proceed with the sole source contract.
