- Closing Agent Services, Houston, Texas, Area 12, Contract 1 of 2 Provide Closing Agent Services for single family properties owned by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD intends to award two contracts using two separate solicitations to cover area 12 in the State of Texas. Area 12 includes the following counties: Angelina, Austin, Brazoria, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Hardin, Harris, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Polk, Robertson, Sabine, San Augustin, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Tyler, Walker, Waller, Washington, and Wharton. The base contract period will be for one year with four one year options. This is a total small business set aside. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted and available for download approximately 15 days after publication of this notice at the following website: http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm.
