- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis software support and updates for proprietary software from Vitech Corporation 2070 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 100, Vienna Virginia 22182-2536. Vitech Corporation is the developer, designer, and manufacturer of the software which are proprietary. They can provide current updates and effective software support which is not available from any other contractor. The North American industry Classification System code is 541511, with a standard size of $21.0 Mil. The order shall be a firm fixed price order for 12- month period through 30 September 2008 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-08-Q-1009. All interested parties shall contact the contract specialist at (540) 653-7478 or dlgr_nswc_xds11@nswc.navy.mil and indicate their interest and capability to receive a list of equipment. This procurement is DO priority rated. Quote is due 16 October 2007 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, Contracts Division, 17362 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 17 October 2007. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in the CCR database.
