- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a sole source non-competitive procurement to Jupiter's Call, LLC to retrieve and process current and archived geostationary (GOES) satellite imagery data. This effort is a continuation of previous work that will continue the computation of potential and reference evapotranspiration throughout the State of Florida. Central to this work is the unique estimation of solar insolation via analysis of data. Jupiter's Call, LLC offers the unique capability to continue the satellite-based analysis of this data with the consistency required for the success of this project. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No formal RFQ will be issued. The anticipated award date is 19 Oct 07 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 541620. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
