- Reference Numbered Note 22 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-T-0302 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This is a sole source req uirement to L3 Titan - ESD, 3033 Science Park Rd., San Diego, CA, 92121. CLIN 0001 will be issued for two (2) each of P/N 193512, 11U Semi-Rugged Joint Range Extension (JRE) Block 1 Hardware Upgrade for JREs 70 and 76. CLIN 0002 will be issued for two (2) each of P/N 13685, JRE Hard Drive for JREs 70 and 76. CLIN 0003 will be issued for one (1) year of JRE Help Desk Service for CLIN 0001 and 0002. The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB point is Destination - U.S. Army RDECOM - SED, Redstone Arsenal, Ala bama, 35898, marked for the attention of Ms. Jinja Stover, AMSRD-AMR-BA-C3I, 256-842-2701. The required period of performance for CLIN 0001 and 0002 is from date of award through 31 October 2007 or earlier. The required period of performance for CLIN 0003 is from date of award through one (1) year. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supp lement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the resp onsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Govern ment requirement and price. Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial items, OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFER; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Term and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contra ct Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 12:00 noon, Local Time, 12 October 2007 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B148, Redst one Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250.
