- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) is seeking industry input/comment for a follow-on acquisition to provide program management services, training, and communication and outreach support to the Protected Critical Information (PCII) Program. The current contract (HSHQDC-06-F-00064) was awarded in February 22, 2006 to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Additionally, the Government WILL NOT provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this RFI. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The results of this RFI will be used to finalize development of the subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP). The objectives of this project are to provide onsite and offsite support to the Partnership and Outreach Division (POD) PCII Program Office as it develops and implements the PCII program. In order to accomplish the mission mandated by the Critical Infrastructure Information Act of 2002 and directed by the Undersecretary for the National Protection Programs Directorate (NPPD), the PCII Program Office is in need of contractual support that provides expertise in four key areas: (1) Procedures and Practices; (2) Training and Accreditation; (3) Communication and Outreach, and (4) Program Office Operations Support. The attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) defines the PCII Program requirements. The purpose of this RFI is to: (1) gather ideas as to whether the attached draft SOW encompasses all aspects needed to successfully respond to a RFP. Responses to this RFI shall include: Company name, address, point of contact, telephone/fax number, and email address; Comments on the draft SOW. Any information submitted by respondents as a result of this RFI is strictly voluntary. This RFI is for information planning purposes and the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. All information submitted in response to this RFI shall be received no later than 2:00 PM EDT, on October 18, 2007 to email address: Carmen.Rios@dhs.gov. Comments, recommendations, changes and other input should be limited to five (5) pages of text. Telephone responses are not cceptable. All documentation shall become the property of the Government.
