- Description
- Two main human recombinant Estrogen Receptor constructs have been optimized with their respective protocols for this effort. One of these constructs is a commercially this receptor will be referred to as 'the PanVera protein?). The Pan Vera available protein from the company Invitrogen (Invitrogen acquired the rights to the protein from PanVera LLC, and in this documenthrER (PV-ER) is the full length receptor made using baculovirus to infect insect cells for large scale production. CERI, Japan developed a recombinant hrERa receptor that will be commercially available in the near future. The CERI recombinant ER (CERI-ER) contains the ligand binding domain attached to a GST fusion protein and is produced in E. coli.
