- Sierra Army Depot is located on the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range 60 miles north of Reno, Nevada in the town of Herlong, California. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 811310 and $6.5 M respec tively. The FSC Code is J039. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicita tion or other information. The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract with one base and four (4) option periods. The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, CA intends to award a single, firm fix ed price contract for: ITEM 0001 Complete Maintenance: Provide all scheduled maintenance and repairs on 23 Crown Equipment Model WAV 50-84 Work Assist Vehicles. Includes maintenance/repair of tires and wheels and includes battery repairs. Preventiv e maintenance will be performed every three (3) months. Emergency repairs/general maintenance will be performed as needed (approximately weekly). Mechanics must be qualified/authorized to work on Crown Equipment WAV's to maintain warranty status.
