Description
Reference is made to pervious announcement W15QKN-07-X-0124, Source Sought W15QKN-07-X-0124 notice is the same as W15QKN-08-X-0125. As a result of changes in Fiscal Year, an 08 number is required. Responders DO NOT need to respond to both announcements and may reference either number. The U.S. Army Project Manager for Close Combat Systems will be conducting a Countermeasure Decoy Industry Day on 25 Oct 07 from 0830 to 1600 hrs to be held in Building 1, at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The day will consists of classified brief by the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) on current and future infrared-guided missile threats to Army Aviation. Industry Day will be conducted at the Secret Collateral level and is restricted to U.S citizens only. Advanced registration for Industry Day is required and must be received by Ms. Kelly Gorman by 1500 hrs on Thursday, 18 October 2007. Each company may register up to five (5) personnel to attend Industry Day. All attendees must possess a Secret Collateral level clearance. Registration must be accomplished by sending a letter on company letterhead with the first and last name of each of the company???s attendees (no more than five). Your signed letter may be sent to Ms. Kelly Gorman U.S. Army JM&L LCMC, ATTN: AMSML-AQ-CC, Bldg 9, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Responses can also be submitted by email to Kelly.gorman@us.army.mil. Security clearances for all attendees must be submitted by 18 October 2007, by sending a visit request through the Joint Personnel Access System (JPAS) to W6B3AA6PL. Attendees without access to JPAS must include their Social Security Number in the registration letter for the verification of security clearances. Attendees should report to the Visitors Center to receive a visitor???s pass. A valid picture ID must be presented. All cars to be driven on base must also receive a car pass from the Visitors Center. A copy of the vehicles registration and insurance is required. Check in will be at Bldg. 1 lobby between 0830 and 0900 hrs. Cell phones, laptops, and other recording devices will not be permitted at Industry Day and should not be brought into the building. Note taking will also not be permitted. Distribution of the brief is authorized on a need-to-know basis to Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors only. This material contains sensitive U.S. military operational information as well as sensitive intelligence reporting and will not be further disseminated without permission from the originator. This is a Sources Sought Announcement only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Announcement. Should the Government have a future need a solicitation notice will be published at a later date with more detailed technical requirements provided.
