- Description
- The Government has a requirement for thermal weapon sight (TWS) brackets. The TWS mounting brackets are needed for various types of weapons including the M2, MK19, M4 and M24. This requirement will be competed as a 100% small business set aside with the anticipation of making multiple awards. The Governments award decision will be made on a low cost, technically acceptable basis. The contracts will be firm fixed price, indefi nite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) available for a contract period of 36 months. It is anticipated the contracts will each have a minimum of 500 or 1,000 units per weapon. Quantity varies by weapon. The official Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted around 25 October 2007 on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website located at the following address: https//:acquisition.army.mil. The online version of the RFP will include all documents and dr awings for the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or ot her applicable documents. No questions relating to this solicitation will be answered until the RFP is posted.
