Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to negotiate firm fixed price contract. This requirement is being set aside unrestricted. The NAICS Codes is 485991 and small business size is 6.5 Mil. The Contract period shall be for six months.The Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has requirement for two (2) shuttle bus transportation services. Both buses must have room for over 35 VA beneficiaries including space for at least four (4) wheelchairs or electric scooters, specimens, small boxes, meds, medical supplies, files and mail. Furthermore, the buses must have restrooms.- One bus shall provide transportation to VA Santa Maria Ambulatory Care Center to VA Los Angeles Healthcare System with five additional stops. The other bus shall provide transportation from VA Bakersfield Clinic to VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center and Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Clinic roundtrip. Also the bus shall make stops in VA West Los Angeles Healthcare System with additional stops in the Los Angeles Area. Solicitation will be available O/A 10 /19/07 with proposals due O/A 10/30/07. The VA Network 22 Logistics Office shall issue the solicitation electronically. All requests for the solicitation in hard copy must be via facsimile to (562) 961-1378. The RFQ number VA-262-08-RQ-0013 must be cited on the request.
