- Description
- The U.S. Government Printing Office has a requirement to procure (2)factory tested, oil lubricated air cooled, 50 HP Rotary Screw Compressors, model Gardner-Denver Electra-Saver Model SAV-50(EAH99C)with the Epact 50 horsepower motor premium efficiency upgrade. The compressor requires a single power input of 460 VAC, three phase and 60 cycles. Each compressor shall have a rated capacity of 212 cfm at 125 psig at 53 bhp or equal. The system consists also of (2)240 gallon vertical air receivers, manufactured by Steel Fab number 92-30-240-200. In addition it requires (2)heat sink cycling refrigerated dryers, Zeks model 250 HSG or equal. System also consists of (2)coalescing filters Zeks model ZTF-250H or equal, (1)oil/water condensate separator, Gardner-Denver "Eliminator II" Model CTS30 or equal. GPO intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to Cummins-Wagner. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Goverment not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition hasis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All parties interested may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
