Description

To all recipients of the Prospectus, WHIS001-08, to operate marina services, boat and related equipment rentals, slip rentals, and moorage within Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Modification #2 is being issued to change the Operating Plan regarding visitor boat safety under the Draft Concession Contract CC-WHIS001-08. Please see the website, http://concessions.nps.gov/news.cfm, for the specific changes to the Draft Concession Conract, or contact Darby Watson at (510) 817-1365 or darby_watson@nps.gov for a copy of the Prospectus. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delievered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than nintey (90) days from August 16, 2007 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The prospectus was issued on August 16, 2007, for a 90-day response periord under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on November 14, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).
