- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, on behalf of the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations, intends to issue a sole source contract for the purchase of antiterrorism drivers and firearms rules of engagement training to support the non-civilian military function USAFSIA Advance Strategic Counterintelligence Detachment Security Escort Course (SCIDSEC) that is taught in Chesapeake, Va. Award will be made to Blackwater Lodge and Training Center of Moyock, NC. The statutory authority permitting for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source. However, interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the work required. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be provided by email, oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
