- The USDA Forest Service (all Forests/Zones in Region 3) has a requirement to obtain the services of water handling equipment for the Southwestern Region geographic area for Wildland Fire Engines for local, Regional, and Nationwide fire suppression, all hazard activities, and severity. The solicitation will be posted at FedBizOpps on or after June 25, 2007. The closing date is changed to August 13, 2007. If you are unable to print a copy of the solicitation from FedBizOpps, please send a faxed request to the Acquisition Management Office (AQM) of the forest or zone nearest you to request a hard copy.
