- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price requirement contract for the inspection, maintenance and repair of Santa Rosa Tower and Elevator at Test Site A-13b, Eglin AFB, FL in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, transportation and parts. The contractor shall agree to accept the tower and elevator in ?as is? condition. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price requirement type contract with a total performance period of one year and possible two year options. This is a Full and Open Competition requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333921, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) without further notice on or about 13 August 2007. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. The estimated proposal due date is 27 August 2007. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and DFAS Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or WAWF will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-AUG-2007).
